Being part of New Space is supporting New Space. We know TVAC access is hard for entrepreneurs, micros and SMEs. So we are opening our doors. No fees. No equity. No IP claim. You keep your IP.

Who should apply 

Entrepreneurs, micro companies and SMEs building New Space hardware. Subsystems, components, CubeSat payloads, thermal hardware, mechanisms and materials are all in scope.

Is it really free 

Yes. Free to enter and free to use if you win. We seek nothing in return. 

Do we keep our IP 

Yes. You keep your IP and your data. We sign a standard facility and safety agreement. 

Do we need to be UK based 

No. We support New Space from anywhere, subject to export control and logistics. 

What if our design is not ready in time 

Tell us early. We will try to adjust within Q1 2026, subject to schedule. 

What are typical outputs 

Standard chamber logs, temperature and pressure traces, and a concise summary. Advanced reporting can be discussed.

  • We may share the fact of the competition and winner. No technical details are shared without your written consent.

The facility includes a combined vibration and environmental laboratory (the only commercial facility on the Island of Ireland that can perform combined temperature and vibration testing up to 54kN), a fire test laboratory and a general mechanical test facility. Resonate Testing is UKAS accredited to ISO17025, ISTA and, as part of The Nacelle Group, certified to ISO9001:2015.
