Business Development Executive – We Are Hiring

Resonate Testing is an ambitious cutting-edge mechanical and environmental test facilitator. Our services support a wide range of industries including mission-critical components and systems, in high-performance testing for high-growth markets, such as Space, Battery and Aerospace sectors; ensuring they meet the most rigorous standards for durability, safety and performance. We are focused on growth. As we promote our brand and expand our footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven ‘Business Development Executive’ to lead our growth strategy.
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Start date: June / July 2025
Salary Range: £36,000 – £51,000 per annum (plus performance-based bonus)
Hours: 40 per week
Reporting To: General Manager

Job Purpose:
Your role will be to support the current and future business development activities and support the General Manager in expanding the business along the following priorities
- Revenue Growth:
Drive top-line revenue by identifying, targeting and securing new business opportunities in the space and battery testing markets. - Market Expansion:
Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and customer segments, both domestically and internationally. - Brand Recognition:
Enhance the company’s visibility and reputation through strategic marketing, partnerships and participation in industry events and conferences. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including aerospace manufacturers, battery developers and government agencies. - Proposal Development:
Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities. - Market Intelligence:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge. - Collaboration:
Work closely with technical teams to align service offerings with market needs and ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within aerospace, energy storage or testing services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
